SD Recovery Software
Supporting ALL type memory cards: SD, Mini SD, Micro SD, SDHC, SDSC, SDXC, SDIO memory cards, but also SSD, MMC, CF, xD, Compact, cell phone memory card, memory cards that are used in digital cameras, camcorders, mobile phones, MP3 players and any other type media cards, etc.
IsoBuster has been designed to recover data from any type of memory card, beit a USB stick, MMC, CF card, or Flash memory built in a camera or camcorder. SD, any type SD memory card is hence no problem either.
Sometimes when you insert your SD card to the PC, Windows asks if you want to format the disk. For whatever reason Windows can't see the partition(s) on the SD anymore. IsoBuster however can often still find the different partitions, and it will show you the data, so that you can extract the files to a safe place.
Another problem is deleted files. Most memory cards, such as SD cards, are formatted with the FAT file system. Isobuster immediately shows you the deleted files and folders on the SD card so that you can extract them and save them again. IsoBuster is of course not limited to FAT, should your SD card be formatted with a format less used on memory cards, such as NTFS, UDF or HFS, then this is still no problem for IsoBuster. All data will immediately be shown.
IsoBuster also features powerful, full surface scanning functionality and it can find files that are not linked anymore to a file system. So if your data is not immediately displayed, right mouse click the SD memory card icon in the left pane and select "Find Missing files and folders". This scan will find your data. Select the found files and folders in IsoBuster and right mouse click them, choose "extract", and you're done.
Secure Digital or (SD) is a non-volatile memory card format for use in portable devices. The Secure Digital standard is maintained by the SD Card Association (SDA).
